I spent two years re-adjusting my boxer between 9am and 6pm. I’m Lucas, founder of Orion. I figured a few million of us were doing the same — without ever talking about it.
The problem
Cotton holds moisture up to 27% of its weight before releasing it. Synthetic blends don’t breathe. By 11am, the loop has started: damp, friction, ride-up, re-adjustment. 15 times a day. A British study cited by Esquire estimates the average man spends 11 years of his life thinking about his underwear. We wanted to fix that.
The fabric
We spent 5 years on R&D — fabric and cut. We landed on long-fiber bamboo viscose, woven from extra-long fibers to give second-skin softness with less pilling and better skin tolerance. No short-shred „bamboo” tricks: the percentage is printed on every product, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
The cut
The fabric alone wouldn’t have solved it. We patterned a cut that doesn’t ride up — tested on 200 men between 55 and 110 kg, in regular and Long-Leg fits. The ComfortLock™ waistband is invisible under a shirt. AirMesh™ panels go only where heat builds.
Where it’s made
Weaving and finishing in Turkey (Izmir), at a partner workshop we audit twice a year. The raw fiber comes from China (Sichuan) — there’s no European production of weavable bamboo to date. Packing and customer care from our EU operations team.
